nice to meet you!

Hi everyone, I’m Kryssa Byron.
I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself and the reason why I created The Female Negotiator.

get to know: the female negotiator

First of all, in order to understand the inspiration behind The Female Negotiator it’s important to note my two big passions:

1.  Helping women succeed.
2.  All things negotiations.

These passions are the real reason why I started this platform: to help all of you become the most confident, successful negotiators you can be.

You might be wondering how my background has led me directly to you. So here it is: I started my career at a large Fortune 50 company in Minneapolis (you might recognize their iconic red branding in the shape of a bullseye). Here, I held various merchandising roles where I was in charge of multi-million-dollar businesses and hundreds of vendor partnerships. I also joined their internal negotiations team leading negotiation strategy and implementation across key businesses like Toys, Electronics, and Beauty. From there, I worked for a specialized consultancy training and delivering retail negotiation solutions to retailers all across the country — primarily in the Grocery industry. I generated millions of dollars in cost savings, pure profit improvement and growth for businesses, but most notably I positively changed my clients’ behaviors to run their business more effectively and efficiently. Throughout all of these roles, I realized one particularly important thing: having strong negotiation skills is crucial to becoming a leader in business and in life!

Which brings me to where i am today:

Let’s go make it happen.
